FSA TESTING BEGINS MONDAY, APRIL 16TH

Testing for DMS students begins on Monday, April 16th!

Please make sure that your child arrives to school on time and ready to test.  For the ELA portion of the FSA, students are encouraged to bring their own earbuds.  Personal earbuds are part of the DMS school-wide supply list.   Having a personal set of earbuds also promotes a healthy environment for your child.

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING IS AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS

DMS students can receive tutoring in Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies on the following days:
  • Monday & Wednesday – Math
  • Tuesday & Thursday – Reading, Language Arts & Science
  • Wednesday – Social Studies
Tutoring sessions begin at 4:15 and end at 5:45.  Parents please pick up your children promptly! We want all of our students to be successful!   Please take advantage of this great resource!

ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED A 3-inch binder or Trapper Keeper to hold their student handbook/agenda and to organize the following materials:
  • Earbuds for computer lab
  • Pencils (2 Packs)
  • Pens
  • Colored Pencils
  • 6 packs of college-ruled loose-leaf paper
  • Hand-held pencil sharpener
  • Pencil pouch with binder holes
  • 7th/8th Grade ONLY – Scientific Calculator (T130Xa recommended)

Sixth Grade Students

  • TWO 1-subject spiral notebooks (Math)
  • 4 Duo Tang Folders (metal clips inside) (History, Language Arts, Science, Reading)
  • 2 Composition Notebooks, Glue Sticks (Science)
  • 1 2″ 3-ring binder to be kept in classroom (Language Arts)

Seventh Grade Students
